Candy Crush Saga is a mobile app puzzle game with more than a billion downloads. Users progress from level to level by matching candies in a row. The app itself is free but there are plenty of opportunities for in-app purchases. For example, players are given a limited number of lives and some power ups to progress through the game but once these run out, they must purchase more or wait through a sit-out period until they can have another go. Screen-time, in app advertisements and purchase prompts are parents biggest bugbears when it comes to this app.
1. Open your Apps list and tap on the Play Store icon to open it.
2. Press the Menu button in the top-left corner of the Play Store, then scroll down and tap Settings.
3. Find and press require authentication for purchases to choose how long to wait before asking for your password again.
4. Finally, press the option to require authentication for all purchases through Google Play on this device. Now, you'll need to enter your password for every app or in-app purchase.
